The Birch-bark Canoe is a classic statement of the true American spirit. This canoe is entirely hand tooled, custom built by Michael Kohout in Vermont, the same way they were 100's of years ago by Native American Indians. The canoe is in the Abeniki style and has graceful, elegant lines. Using bark from the birch tree, cedar splits for ribs and lashed with spruce root this canoe is a good size for solo or tandem paddling. It would also be perfect as a full size display canoe in a camp or cabin setting. The canoe has been paddled and is in great condition.

The Skylark is the perfect small rowing craft. Comfortably sized to fit up to three adults, this beautiful boat tracks superbly with its triple-keel design. The Skylark comes with two sets of brass oar sockets, one set of oar locks and one pair of oars; walnut trim, seats, and fan-shaped stern seat backrest. Up to a 4HP gas motor or any size electric trolling motor can be used. Located in Connecticut, 1 careful owner who unfortunatly has to sell.
